How can you get engaged?\u00a0 Being engaged in mission, external and internal will lead to a life centered upon Christ.\u00a0 Jesus the Christ promised to send another to be with us.\u00a0 The Holy Spirit is active in a variety of ways.\u00a0 Through prayer, Christians will learn how to become deeper involved in mission.\u00a0 Here is a top 5, to get you started.<\/p>\n

  1. Become actively involved in worship (Pray for guidance)<\/strong>\n

    1. Worship from home, is a start but do not just worship from home, seek to serve and support<\/li>\n
    2. Worship inside the congregation, is a start but\u00a0 not just worship in the church building, seek to serve and support<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    3. Study (Pray for guidance)<\/strong>\n
        \n
      1. Bible study (Bible studies are offered, come and engage)<\/li>\n
      2. Devotions & Prayer (There are supplies inside the building)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      3. Volunteer for worship service opportunities (Pray for Guidance)<\/strong>\n
          \n

        2. If, while worshiping you see something that is needed, do it<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        3. Give (Pray for guidance)<\/strong>\n

          1. This is not just money, but mission costs, so money is needed<\/li>\n
          2. Giving of your time and Spiritual Gifts. (See the sermon series<\/a>)\n

            1. Come and be part of a team, see our list of teams<\/a><\/li>\n
            2. Assist inside the office, welcome center, phone calls, et<\/li>\n
            3. Assist with technology, such as email, text and web<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
            4. \u00a0Give support to others (Pray for guidance)<\/strong>\n

              1. You may be physically limited or financially, but you can pray<\/li>\n
              2. Be a cheer leader for those that are actively involved in ministry<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                These are just the top 5.\u00a0 There are many ways to become engaged.\u00a0 Each of the top 5, can lead to so many other ways to be engaged.\u00a0 As you pray for guidance in being engaged, God will speak.\u00a0 Maybe it is time to get a Spiritual Director<\/a>, to help you determine where God is engaging you, to become engaged.\u00a0 Each congregation, has mission.\u00a0 We have a Mission Support Plan<\/a>, that details the cost of mission, but it also shows what goes into mission and may give you some more ideas on how to be engaged.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
